Praise for Rosen Trevithick

"Brilliant."
- The Independent
"It's hilarious to the point that I had to put the book down because I couldn't see the screen for my tears and this happened a few times. The incident in the kitchen with the My Ickle Pony Tail had me curled up so I didn't wet myself."
- K. Farrimond (Amazon Reviewer)
"I absolutley loved Straight Out of University. It was laugh out loud funny through a lot of it. It drew me in rapidly and even had me on tenterhooks to see if characters Sophie and John would work out together."
- S. Hitchens
"Rosen has a flair for snappy dialogue, detailed description and fast plot movement. I'll definitely be reading more of her work."
- David Wailing (Author)

S.O.S. Royal Brompton Children's Cardiac Services

One of the issues touched upon in The Ice Marathon is heart disease in babies. This brought to mind a campaign I've heard a lot about in the news recently - the campaign against the closure of children's cardiac services at The Royal Brompton.

On the 16th February 2011 an NHS report was published which included recommendations to discontinue children's cardiac surgery at Royal Brompton Hospital.

The Brompton Foundation is a charity that exists to support families with children under the care of the Royal Brompton and Harefield NHS Foundation Trust for severe, often life threatening, heart and lung conditions.

Members of the foundation believe that closure of said services will have a devastating effect on paediatric care and are campaigning against the decision.

On 22nd October it was announced in parliament that Jeremy Hunt, Secretary of State for Health has requested a review of the decision. A conclusion is expected by February of 2013.

Although this is a fantastic development, the campaign still needs your support in writing to your MP, signing a petition and spreading the word.
