Praise for Rosen Trevithick

"Brilliant."
- The Independent
"You'll probably never look at a slowcooker in quite the same way again after reading this....or your child's My Little Pony."
- Mrs. M. A. Tolcher (Amazon Reviewer)
"I was reading this aloud to my 4 year old niece when waiting for hubby to finish with a doctor's appointment. She was totally enthralled! When we were ready to leave, the gentleman across from us had been listening and said, "Ah! Man! Do you have to go? I was really enjoying that!""
- DW
"Rosen does humour very well, but this latest title from her is the best yet. It even had me laughing out loud, which is rare for me!"
- Michael Brookes (Author)

'Six Years Left' by Courtenay Hereward (Age 11)

Six Years Left is a book by an eleven-year-old girl that is inspiring, both in the way it's written and the support she's had to self-publish it.

Here's my review

An Inspiring and Refreshing Read From a Blossoming Talent - Five Stars

Sarah is a fourteen-year-old girl who develops a passion for Caspian seals, after her family move to Azerbaijan. The story is a touching tale of the relationship Sarah builds with the species and her heartache when she learns that they're at risk of extinction.

My first knowledge of this book was when I heard that some adult authors were mentoring an eleven-year-old who wished to publish an eBook. I downloaded the book as soon as it came out because I was inspired by the project. I took a quick peek at the first page, planning to leave the bulk of the reading until later, and got drawn in by the beautiful descriptions on the first page.

I rarely give a book five stars but I was struck by the passion behind the story, the depth a young writer had put into her main character, and the magical way that the story was told. This is a truly inspiring read.

Immediately after reading it, I looked up Caspian seals.
