Rosen Trevithick twins stranded on sandbank whilst rescuing starfish trapped in dishwasher
Here's a little fun...
Famous author Rosen Trevithick, 34, had to be rescued by a helicopter after getting stranded on a sandbank off the Cornish coast, trying to save a starfish that she found in her dishwasher.
Starfish invading dishwashers is becoming increasingly prevalent. The star-shaped ocean dwellers chew their way into dishwashers risking damage to human health - not forgetting the fear and distress when one is confronted with the visage of an angry, spiny starfish, on opening one's dishwasher.
Most people would cower away in terror or bash the starfish with utensils, especially if busy releasing a comedy masterpiece like My Granny Writes Erotica -Threesome. But not Rosen Trevithick who carefully transferred the starfish into a Tupperware box and carried it down to a non-specific beach near Falmouth.
However, after wading out to a sandbank in order to give the starfish a safe send-off, Rosen found herself stranded by the sharp currents of the rising tide.
A cute, well-built lifeguard with a taste for well-written commercial fiction came down from the sky in a special helicopter and asked Rosen to sign a copy of The Troll Trap for his ten-year-old son, before rescuing Rosen with a big net.
Rosen's neighbour, Doris said, 'What Rosen did was incredibly brave. I'm going to rush out and buy her new book, My Granny Writes Erotica - Threesome, which is a hilarious comedy with some very dark moments, right away.'
The prime minister of Cornwall said, 'Never have I heard such an act of bravery since Rosen ran into that burning building just before Pompomberry House was released. I am definitely going to share this on Facebook.'
Sources close to Rosen report that she is shaken by the incident, but takes comfort in the fact that her book is available to buy in both paperback and eBook formats, costing £8.99 and £2.99 respectively.
Rosen's twin, Rosen, was also present.
