Praise for Rosen Trevithick

"Brilliant."
- The Independent
"The ups are oh so funny, the downs are quite heartbreaking. I am not ashamed to say I was in tears more than once. The last story just blew me away when I got to it. This is definitely the best collection of stories I've read in a long while and I'm sure I will read them again."
- J. Stacey (Amazon Top 1000 Reviewer)
"Laugh-out-loud funny, wonderfully observed, and intelligent."
- N. Holme
"This first thing I learned was that this is not a book to read on the bus, mainly because of all the times I caught myself laughing like an idiot every five minutes. The second thing I learned was just how great this book is."
- M. Cox (Amazon Reviewer)

10 Last Resorts of the Indie Author

Here are the ways of promoting your eBook that the guide books don't tell you. This list is based on my observations and those of other writers. The tips are not recommendations (necessarily).

1. Take a printed copy of your book to a cafe. Then, read it whilst chuckling and slapping your thigh.

2. Open your book on display eReaders in shops.

3. Stand by the side of the road holding a cardboard sign that says: "Will work for e-book sales."

4. Slip sample chapters into the handbags of passers by.

5. Read book excerpts to friends on buses.

6. Leave your blog open on library computers.

7. Announce your death in the local paper, accompanied by a link to your book.

8. Insert promotional bookmarks into all the genre friendly books in local bookstore.

9. Start a rumour that your characters are all based on people you've met.

10. Disguise your fliers as bank notes, and scatter them around the streets.

With thanks to the people on http://www.kindleboards.com for their inspired ideas.
